VAG chiptuning
Looking for more pulling power and a sharper response to the accelerator? Chiptuning changes the engine software. The right calibration depends on your engine, gearbox, fuel and the condition of the car.
Why VAG Performance Chip
Vehicle selection
Select the exact version. We only show figures and options that are verified for that specific combination.
Vehicle-specific data
Live vehicle dataCurrent guideline values for this exact engine version. Final feasibility is confirmed after identification of the vehicle, ECU and software version.

Software availability
Options are assessed per vehicle, control unit, software version and intended use. Availability does not mean that every option is suitable or permitted.
What is chiptuning?
The ECU is the computer that controls the engine. Depending on the engine type, it manages areas including boost pressure, fuel delivery and ignition. Chiptuning changes the calibration to reshape power and torque delivery. Stage 1, 2 and 3 are not fixed industry standards: below we explain how we use those names and when additional hardware is needed.
What changes and what remains
Torque requests, limits and engine strategies are only changed where the identified configuration permits. Diagnostic functions and temperature, load and component protection remain part of a responsible strategy. Emissions hardware required by law is not disabled as part of tuning for normal road use.
Suitable or repair first
A car with appropriate maintenance, the correct fuel and a known configuration can be assessed for chiptuning. Active faults, leaks, abnormal temperatures, ignition problems, slip, unclear previous software or hardware that does not suit the objective require diagnostics, maintenance or repair first.
The calibration process
We begin with exact vehicle, ECU and transmission identification and discuss fuel, use and modifications. The appropriate pre-check and a backup or record of the original state follow. The read and write method may differ by control unit. After calibration, relevant values and fault messages are checked before the car is handed over.
Results & reliability
The same model may use different engine codes, ECU versions, factory outputs and transmissions. Fuel quality, intake-air temperature, maintenance and installed hardware also affect what is technically achievable and repeatable. We therefore show results for confirmed versions and discuss margins and maintenance instead of guaranteeing a universal gain.
A practical route
Select the vehicle or provide the registration, current software and hardware, fuel, mileage, symptoms and intended use. If vehicle data or access has not yet been confirmed, we perform a manual check first. You then receive a proposal covering the work, any conditions and planning, without using a fixed price list as a substitute for technical advice.
From intake to delivery
Looking for more pulling power and a sharper response to the accelerator? Chiptuning changes the engine software. The right calibration depends on your engine, gearbox, fuel and the condition of the car.
Vehicle, software version, hardware, fuel and intended use are documented.
Diagnostics and identification establish whether the basis is suitable and which route is available.
Software, DSG and any required hardware are selected as one coherent package.
Work is completed in-house or planned within the agreed specialist route.
Operation is checked and the completed configuration remains linked to the vehicle.
Frequently asked questions
Chiptuning is the vehicle-specific adjustment of the ECU calibration. At VPC, the route is linked to the exact Volkswagen, Audi, CUPRA, SEAT or Škoda, including its engine, software, transmission, fuel and hardware.
That can only be assessed for the exact version. Engine code, factory variant, ECU software, fuel, hardware, temperature and measurement method make generic gain figures unreliable.
No. Technical support, vehicle condition and software access must be confirmed. Diagnostics or repair come first when there are faults, leaks, slip or unclear previous modifications.
Price and planning depend on ECU access, the read and write method, transmission, pre-check and selected route. After vehicle identification, you receive a clearly scoped quotation and schedule.
The original state and relevant identification remain stored against the vehicle. Whether returning to standard is possible and advisable is assessed for the specific control unit and current software version.
The implications vary by vehicle, modification, warranty terms and applicable rules. Notify the manufacturer, insurer or inspection authority where required, and retain emissions hardware mandated by law.
